8# Tegeltje, tegeltje aan de wand..
Tijdens reizen, weekendjes weg en andere uitstapjes neem ik altijd graag iets mee naar huis als souvenir. Een blijvende herinnering en zodra ik ernaar kijk ben ik weer even op de plek van herkomst.
De laatste tijd liep ik maar te schuiven met al die souvenirs. Allemaal losse stuks in huis welke net niet lekker bij elkaar matchten zorgde voor wat onrust, en zo verhuisde de collectie dan ook naar boven. Jammer natuurlijk, want juist dat wegdromen bij fijne reisjes en daardoor weer even helemaal terug op die bestemming is zo heerlijk!
Dus bracht ik een nieuwe regel in het souvenir verhaal. Géén pullaria of impuls aankopen meer, maar een zorgvuldig uitgezocht stuk welke bij ons past, en het interieur dus een persoonlijke tint geven. Ik koos voor 1 vast thema, geboren na ons tripje in Sevilla waar ik allerlei beschilderde tegeltjes zag. Prachtige kleuren met Moorse invloeden. In Andalusië zijn deze typisch gekleurde tegels niet meer weg te denken en komen ze terug in de meest mooie patronen. Van oudsher in de paleizen en statige gebouwen maar later ook in de huizen, straten en patio’s.
Thema tegeltjes is het nieuwe plan. Door souvenirs in dezelfde lijn te kiezen passen deze goed bij elkaar en wordt het een leuke verzameling met een verhaal. Ook in de achterhoek is me dit gelukt, een echte ouderwetse zelfs, het lijkt wel een klein stukje kunst. Omdat er op de korte termijn geen spannende tripjes of reizen op de planning staan, en de collectie nog wat zielig is heb bij Sostrene Grene, (hier later meer over want ohh ik ben zo fan van deze winkel!) een trendy exemplaar gescoord met cactussen print. Ook voor een beetje tropische invloeden haha.
Al die gezellige tegeltjes zie je steeds meer terug in het interieur. Storytiles geeft oude tegels een nieuw leven door er unieke collages van te maken op een humoristische manier. Zo krijgt elke tegel een eigen verhaal.
Studio Ditte heeft zelfs een mooi behang met een mix van Friese witjes en oud Hollandse blauwe tegeltjes. Het behang brengt een stukje 17e eeuw terug in het interieur. Ik kan er uren naar blijven kijken.
